Most Council in NSW and Nationally are now pretty well versed with recycling. Almost all Councils have some form of recycling service that they provide their residents. However, not all Councils realise the true value of the recyclables that they collect from their residents.
The NSW Government has released a Discussion Paper to provide additional housing types that could be included as complying development in the State policy for exempt and complying development.
Sydney is growing rapidly. By 2031 Sydney’s population will grow by 1.6 million people, at an average of approximately 80,000 extra people each year. To cater for the resulting demand in housing provision, the State government has initiated planning policies and allocated funding to encourage and stimulate housing construction.
The State government has introduced a series of reforms for local government within New South Wales (NSW) called “Fit for the Future”. These reforms are intended to provide communities across the State with confidence that councils are financially sound, operating efficiently and in a strong position to guide community growth and deliver quality services.
